Chanel : Runway - Paris Fashion Week - Haute Couture S/S 2014

Chanel Haute Couture walked on Tuesday in Paris and Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection did not disappoint. He constructed the faux futuristic lounge inside the Grand Palais to showcase his athletic-inspired culture collection.

He presented Chanel’s haute couture collection filled with glistening whites, metallic textures, feminine frills and an elegant palette of pastel hues. The sneakers worn with every single outfit, which were handmade by Massaro, another aletier owned by Chanel are made from python skin, veiled with lace, tweed, pearls and each pair reportedly took approximately 30 hours to make.

At the finale, the British supermodel Cara Delevingne strutted the runway with Karl’s 5-year-old godson. The show-stopping dress worn by Cara was crafted with a slimline silhouette. Karl Lagerfeld never fails to impress his couture collection and proved to the world yet again just why he is the king of fashion.
